Mongolia is a high altitude country in Northeast Asia. It is very cold in the winter and mild in the summer in most places. This excludes the Gobi Desert, in which the temperature can rise to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. There are three main physical characteristics of Mongolia.
